Sport Hall in AAUP hosted the first basketball game for the Palestinian team in Palestine against the Sri Lanka team among the second round of the Asia Basketball Qualifiers.
The game ended in a historical winning for the Feda’i team with a score of 102 against 60 to Sri Lanka team. The Sport Hall in AAUP is the only home court field in Palestine that is accredited by the Basketball Asian Federation, and for this game AAUP had all the preparations done. Congratulations to our team.
The Palestinian Basketball team “Al Feda’i” has organized a training camp in the sport hall court in AAUP as it is the only certified court in Palestine as a home court for the national team. The camp came as part of the preparation procedures for the 6th group that contains the teams of Palestine, Jordan Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan that have reached the Asian Basketball Championship finals that will be held in India in 2021.
Eng. Bara Asfour- the Assistant to the President and Mr. Uday Daraghmeh- the Director of Sports Facilities had a checkup tour in the court to see the players, the training crew and the American trainer that the Palestinian Federation assigned to supervise the Palestinian team training.
The Palestinian team will play against Sri Lanka team in the Sport Hall in AAUP on the 24th of the coming month.
The Palestinian Federation for Racquet Games concluded the Palestinian Badminton Championship 2019 that was hosted in the closed sport hall in AAUP.

Bara Asfour- the Assistant to the President, Dr. Saba’ Jarrar- the Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Mr. Fathi Imour- the PR Manager, Dr. AbdelRahman Nuerat- the Head of the Federation and Mr. Ya’qoub Al Issa- the Badminton Secretary General, the championship activities has concluded.
