Ahmad Hajhasan serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The National Bank ("TNB") since the year 2010. He also serves as a board member of the Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB). He was chosen as one of the 50 most influential financial executives in the Middle East for the year 2016 according to Global Finance Magazine. Under his management, TNB witnessed several notable achievements and was awarded the fastest growing bank in Palestine and the Middle East for the year 2013.
TNB is currently the second largest Palestinian bank, and has witnessed two M&A transactions during a period of 3 years. Mr. Hajhasan is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab American University of Jenin, and a board member of MEPS Palestine.
Mr. Hajhasan started his career as a lecturer of Finance in the Arab American University, before he serves in different positions in the financial regulatory field holding senior positions in the Palestine Monetary Authority and the Palestine Capital Markets Authority.
Mr. Hajhasan holds a two postgraduate degrees in Finance and Financial markets, and a Bachelor degree in business administration, and is certified in the areas of risk management and money market trading.
