The complex challenges of the digital world have led to a large development in the field of engineering and information technology. Thus, a wide research and job opportunities emerged in various fields such as telecommunication, engineering, multimedia, GIS technology, fiber optics, nanotechnology, data mining, computer networks, the internet of things, social media, communication and more others.
We aim at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) to help students in getting a solid foundation in engineering science and information technology by offering various bachelor's and master programs that are adopted by Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission’s (AQAC) of the Ministry of Higher Education. The college of Engineering and information technology is a place of innovation and creativity. The faculty members have a high level of academic, research and teaching experience. Moreover, our faculty members are distinguished in interacting with students and guiding them to initiate extracurricular activities.
Our students graduate with high performance and distinguished experience for many reasons. On the one hand, they perform innovative and creative research experiments with their professional teachers; on the other hand, our students lead a broad array of cultural, academic, social and political clubs such as departments clubs, IEEE club, Japanese Friendship club, Open Source club and others.
Consistent with our vision to be a leader in innovation, research, and dissemination of knowledge, our faculty members are active in research and they publish their articles in international scientific journals. We are proud of our staff and of our distinctive relations with the Union of Palestinian Engineers, the Palestinian information technology Association (PITA) of companies, IT and telecommunications companies. These distinctive relations allow our students to cope the rapid changes in the market needs.
