n occupational therapist performs therapeutic activities in order to enable the client to return to his previous roles and tasks in his valued occupations( ADL, IADL, Work, Education, Play leisure and social participation through setting therapeutic programs to ,enhance motor and sensory abilities, hand as well as treat scars and burns. , the therapist provides the necessary tools to prevent any deformities using splinting technique with up to date splinting materials
The unit treats patients in all ages with the following diagnoses:
- Tendon injuries
- Nerve injuries
- Fractures
- Birth defects
- Joint infections
- Tendon infections
- Burns
- Work-related injuries
- Sports-related injuries
