AAUP Celebrates Graduating the 5th Patch of MBA Students, the Joint Program with Indiana University

AAUP President’s Speech

AAUP President Prof. Abu Zuhri welcomed the audience and said that this program was the start of our academic agreements with international universities to deliver partnership programs that enable its student to receive international certificate in their homeland with the need to travel. As he added the AAUP has also launched many other international joint programs with international universities such as the joint Ph.D. program in Business with Indian University & the bachelor program in Interior Architecture in partnership with the Verona Academy of Fine Arts in Italy.

As he added that the university continuously seeks to gain accredit international academic programs with international centers and institutions, and apply quality standards through its academic programs recognized by the ministry of higher education and scientific research. As the university always seeks to develop unique new programs according to the national and international markets.

AAUP President is proud of the student’s achievements whom have worked and studied hard to become pioneers in the careers and workplace, as for their ability to develop, establish and achieve their roles in the society for they are the ambassadors and representatives of their families, university, and homeland.

 As he thanked the Minister of higher education and scientific research for the new ideas that is to be established in the Palestinian universities, related to quality control in higher education, establish the research repository among Palestinian universities for easier access to information for the researchers.

The Minister’s Speech

The Minister of higher education Prof. Mahmoud Abu Mowais congratulated the graduates and the university for this unique achievement and expressed his happiness to be here in the ceremony and participate in graduating the 5th patch of MBA students. along with his speech he recommends that student are to study foreign languages and focus on digital business where it is becoming a global trend, as he advised to participate in conferences and workshop that will enhance their innovation and creativity.

As he requested that the scientific research in universities should have a social and economic impact, and adding knowledge. Calling for the Palestinian universities that it is time to become quality and technical universities. 

Adding that the ministry seeks towards scientific research in Palestine, and benefit from the Palestinian experience from all over the world to serve the state of Palestine. As he ensured the importance of social responsibilities of universities and the importance of partnering with the local community and private sector, in order to create personal funding, trainings, and career opportunities for its students.

Indiana University speech

Lecturers from Indiana university via recording video congratulated the students for receiving this degree and an international accredit certificate, as they added that this patch is unique and this degree will help them obtain top administrative positons in Palestine, and assured that the graduate are to utilize and apply their knowledge and education in developing Palestine.

A short film was screen specially for the graduates and their memories while studying in both universities.

The Guest of honor’s speech

Mr. Ammar Al-Aker CEO of Paltel Group talked about his 25 years of experience, and gave many advices for the graduates for their career paths, some of these tips are being a role models, well management,  hard worker in order to achieve desired goal, team working.

Success Story

The Graduate Suhaib Al-Sharef explained why he enrolled in MBA program where he was facing many challenges and obstacles working as a legal consultant and lawyer for several companies, as deficiencies in the legal system, weakness in law applications, and the cost of reaching to justice before the Palestinian courts. He was able to learn how to think outside the box from this program, protect his clients, find solutions to problems, as he added that this program gave him a wider understanding of how accountants, investors, and financial mangers think and work, as he was able to suggest solutions to his fellow partners and avoid lack of management and develop forward.

Graduate’s speech

The Graduate Oday Abu Karsh thanked AAUP on behalf the students and the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and Indiana university for their great efforts and work.

As he added that MBA program is a unique program with multi cultures to build a group of mind that think in the same pattern but in different abilities, capabilities and trends. He said that the program offers opportunities for creating networks between students and with partner universities, in addition to the challenge that the student face while studying this program that as a return helps us to take the right decisions in our lives and careers.

Alumni Association’s speech

The Graduate Omar Atawnih a pervious MBA graduate said what the students have learned and studied this program knowing that this is not just a certificate but a step forward to invest in their abilities and their relations, in addition to what they have gained from knowledge and education to serve the community. He added that creating the MBA Alumni Association was to gather all MBA graduates and create a bond of various experiences and knowledge directed to serve our homeland.
