The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh and Jenin Police Director Colonel Nadi Halahleh graduated 30 students from a training course about road traffic safety, in cooperation with Jenin Police Directorate.
Dr. Daraghmeh welcomed the attendees and assured the importance of cooperation between the university and the police, pointing out that many workshops and training courses were held on many topics including road safety, cybercrime and drug control.
For his part, the Colonel Halahleh said that every citizen is required to act as a policeman. This is our message, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to reduce traffic accidents. He added that the police and the university are increasing awareness sessions.
After the training session certificates were distributed between the participants and honored the officials.
Noting that the training course duration was for 14-months, which included social initiatives, training students on road safety and road safety laws, and traffic signals in different areas in Jenin governorate.
