Hassib Al-Sabbagh Center for Excellence in Information Technology celebrated the graduation of 80 school students in the university from schools of Education and Higher Education Directorates in Jenin, Tubas and Qabatiya, who participated in training programs launched by the Center as part of 2018 summer initiatives.
With the attendance of Vice President for Community Training, and the Board member of Hassib Center, Dr. Nizam Dhiab, Director of Education Directorate in Tubas Sa'd Qabha, Director of Education Directorate in Jenin Hani Daraghmeh, Director of Education Directorate in Qabatiya Fawaz Abdul Hayy and academic staff and students with their parents.
The program was for two months and contained GoTechI, GoCode, GoTechII, that was organized in partnership with Glow Innovations and ElectroTech, and in collaboration with Education Directorates.
The program aims to enhance student skills in electronics and technology, build a generation of programmers, develop their capabilities in project presentation, work within the team, where the students where trained by a group of students and graduates from Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the university using the tools, educational material and applications that suit the students ages.
The CEO of Hassib Al-Sabbagh Center Eng. Muhannad Hejawi assured in his speech during the ceremony the importance of establishing effective generations and to keep pace with developments in technology and technological revolution in the world.
The Manager of Hassib Al-Sabbagh Center at the university, Eng. Ahmed Fouad assured the importance of cooperation between the Center and civil society institutions, especially with the directorates of education and its schools.
As the Manager of Glow Innovations Engineer Hassan Omar, pointed out the importance of professional guidance for school students, explaining that this experience helps them to discover and enrich the talents of students interested in this field, in addition to the role of the initiatives.
Students Training on entrepreneurship, innovation and future planning to expand programs quantity and quality to include the parents.
The ceremony ended by presenting the projects and honoring the students who participated in these training programs.
