AAUP sent two of its students from the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences (Nor AlDeen Abu Hasan and Husam Frehat) to Powiślańska University in Poland to study for the fall semester of the academic year 2019/2020. This chance was given to students through the student academic mobility that is provided by Erasmus Plus program.
This opportunity of student mobility will enable students to learn more about other cultures during their time in Poland for four months. They will get to know other students of different backgrounds and cultures and this will strengthen their personalities and teach them new skills.
This mobility through Erasmus Plus was the first in AAUP, and it is just the beginning of other academic, staff and student mobility in the future.
The participants in the training course “National Efficiency Enhancement in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation” that was held in the University of Granada with the participation of a delegation from AAUP, Hebron University and lecturers from University of Granada and Jena Center of Friedrich-Schiller University concluded the events of the second training day.
Representatives of the University of Granada welcomed the participant delegations and presented information about the different specializations and the research centers of their university. In addition, Dr. Enmacio Larotcha – the Head of the Euro-Arab Foundation presented introductory information about the foundation and the services it provides. Dr.
A European Union funded training project entitled “National Efficiency Enhancement in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation” was launched in the University of Granada in Spain. Eight students from (Masters of Conflict Resolution and Masters of Intercultural Communications) of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at AAUP participated in the training course, along with four BA students from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and the Faculty of Arts from Hebron University.
This training course comes as part of Erasmus project that aims to enhance the research capabilities in the conflict resolution and reconciliation aspects. AAUP was represented by Dr. Ayman Yousef, Dr. Nahid Habiballah and Ms. Roula Shahwan- the Manager of Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center and the Project Manager.
