AAUP organized a Orientation Day for New students of the Academic year 2019/2020, with the attendance of VP of AAUP, their Assistants, Deans of Faculty, Faculty Members, Administrative, the committee supervising the event and Head of Students Union.
VP of Training Affairs Dr. Nezam Diab was pleased to open the Orientation Day for New students and welcomed them on behalf of AAUP President Prof. Ali Abu Zuhri, as he praised them for choosing AAUP to be the starting point of their journey of success and development towards their career future. As he pointed out that AAUP this year has launched many new unique specializations in Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees, as it works on providing the academic best services for its students.
The University in cooperation with the Ministry of Education & Higher Education, a Guidance day for “Al-Injaz” high school students, with the participation of 20 high educational institutions of Universities and colleges, and more than 3000 students from different schools from the directorates of education in Jenin, Tubas and Qabatiya.
The Guidance Day which was held at the sports hall in the university, was part of a meeting series organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in eight Palestinian governorates. The aim of this day is to introduce high school students to the specializations available in educational institutions and to help them choose the university and the appropriate specialization that suits their needs and the market needs.
The University organized an orientation day for its new students for the academic year 2018/2018, to introduce them to their programs, university’s faculties, various departments which helps to enhance the relationship between the student and his university.
After the national anthem and reciting some verses of the Holy Koran then reading Al-Fateha on the memory of the souls of the martyrs , The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri, opened the event with a speech welcoming the students, congratulating them and accepting them as students whom seek for knowledge, as they will be the contributors of the Palestinian society, through proposing their creations in national institutions.
